The Future Stars Baseball Academy (FSBA) is hosting their 5th "Baseball in Paradise" tournament. This 10-day event, held in the Netherlands, brings together over 600 young athletes from around the world, including the Netherlands, Aruba, Curacao, the United States, Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, and Belgium.
Max, recently selected for the Dutch 14U team through a competitive process involving skill videos and participation in the Europe Draft Series, will join players across various age categories, ranging from 10U to 21U. This year's tournament features:
The event kicked off with a showcase, allowing players to display their talents to scouts and coaches. Today marks the official opening day, featuring games on multiple fields and a vibrant opening ceremony complete with marching bands in true Latino style.
FSBA president Shurty Tremus has once again expertly organized the event, ensuring that each category has sufficient teams by forming squads from local talent and individual applicants from various countries. The "Baseball in Paradise" tournament not only highlights the skills of young baseball players but also fosters international camaraderie and cultural exchange.
